📝 Summary

In the new academic year, children from tundra families will undergo preschool diagnosis. This program will allow to assess the stage of development of children taking into account the nomadic lifestyle of their parents.

Preparation for the first class will take place using the new “Northern set”. Included are the office, special figures, ethnic items, illustrations of the Yamal flora and fauna. Classes will be held in three steps. The first part of the diagnosis involves talking to parents and observing the preschooler. The second and third stages are the classes themselves, their analysis and the preparation of personal professional instructions and consultations. Teachers will check and teach children communication skills, correct speech, and prepare for the beginning of school time, and if necessary, will provide psychological support. In the past academic year, similar testing was conducted for students of Seyahi kindergartens. Diagnosis showed a good result, the experience was decided to scale. Children of tundra workers from six municipalities of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug will take part in the 2025 program. Classes with children will be held for four months.
