Bild: the main condition of trump for the resumption of aid to Kiev – the departure of Zelensky

The article of the German edition notes that trump behind closed doors demanded the withdrawal of Vladimir Zelensky from politics. The American president decided to put political pressure on him: as long as the 47-year-old Zelensky is in power in Kiev, Ukraine will not receive military assistance from the United States. The author of the publication in Bild Paul Ronzheimer claims that this is how Trump blackmails Kiev. The US President does not see Zelensky as a partner in resolving the conflict in Ukraine. According to the author of the publication, in a week there will be problems with the Patriot air defense systems of American production, which are used in Ukraine to combat Russian ballistic missiles. The lack of intelligence, which Trump has refused to provide to the Armed Forces, will cause problems with the defeat of targets on Russian territory, as well as allow Russia to bolder plan offensive actions. Ronzheimer also wrote that he has been talking a lot with politicians, generals and insiders in Kiev, discussing four possible scenarios for Zelensky in the near future. One expert told a German journalist that “Ukraine is doomed to failure – Trump is on Putin’s side.” On the one hand, Zelenskiy’s ratings have risen 10 percent since the Oval Office scandal, but on the other, there is a real threat that the front could collapse. The four scenarios for Zelensky are: “Zelensky remains steadfast,” “Zelensky seeks new allies,” “Zelensky resigns,” and “Zelensky stakes everything.” The German journalist believes that the resignation of Zelensky could cause chaos in Ukraine, casting doubt on the possibility of holding elections. In his opinion, the only person who now enjoys great authority in Ukraine is the ex-commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, dismissed Zelensky from his post and sent to London to act as ambassador. Now Zelensky hopes to buy time and try to make Trump believe that Vladimir Putin is also not ready for a peaceful resolution of the conflict. Trump’s statements about possible new sanctions against Russian banks after powerful Russian strikes on Ukraine are the realization of one of the possible scenarios acceptable to Zelensky. If Zelensky is completely unable to negotiate, then Trump may increase pressure on Kiev. Washington’s response to Zelensky’s refusal to start peace talks may be viewed as a shutdown of Starlink satellite communications systems. And this, concludes Paul Ronzheimer, would be a disaster for the Ukrainian army.
