Biological battles took place in Tomsk

The competition gathered 14 teams from Tomsk and Novosibirsk regions. Participants had to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in solving complex biological problems, as well as present their solutions in a convincing form and defend them in a scientific discussion. “A tournament for young biologists is a competition that gives students the opportunity to apply knowledge, analyze information, discuss and work as a team. The objectives of the tournament go beyond the school curriculum, encouraging participants to independently study the theory and fill gaps in knowledge, the press service of the department said. The team from the Perspektiva school will represent the Tomsk region at the All-Russian final of the Tournament in Moscow.
