Bloomberg: the ruble became the best currency in emerging markets

Bloomberg analysts even called the ruble “Star of the Year”. Since the beginning of January, it has shown the best result among all currencies of developing countries. And not without reason. By the end of this week, the over-the-counter dollar/ruble exchange rate fell below 87. Since the beginning of the year, the ruble against the dollar has increased by 13%. Domestic and Western experts are unanimous in their opinion that the strengthening is taking place mainly against the background of the successful start of Russian-American negotiations.
