The funeral will take place tomorrow, March 4. They will be held in the village of Novokuli (Charavali). Condolences to the family (Tasiyat) are held in the Khasavyutovsky district of the Olympic, writes TASS. Buvaysar Saitiev died on March 2. He was 49 years old. In connection with the death of the fighter in Chechnya from 3 to 5 March declared mourning. State flags will be lowered and entertainment events will be cancelled. TV channels and radio stations will change the broadcasting grid. Saitiev won gold medals at the Olympics in 1996, 2004 and 2008 in the weight category up to 74 kg. He also has six gold medals in the World and European Championships. He completed his sports career in 2009. Since 2016, he was a deputy of the State Duma, was a member of the Committee on Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs. He was awarded the Order of Merit to the Fatherland of the IV degree, Honor and Friendship.
