Another characteristic feature of this winter is the huge icicles hanging from the roofs of houses. Blocks of ice, which are formed due to melting snow and temperature changes, pose a real threat to human life and health. This should be done by management companies and HOA. However, not all properly perform their duties and sometimes wait for the icicles to disappear by themselves, i.e. melt. If an apartment building does not clean the territory and roof from snow and ice (and this should be done regularly), violations should be reported to the State Committee on Tariffs and Housing Supervision. Spring is already on the calendar tomorrow, but the frosts are not going to recede, and therefore it is just as necessary to take care of the safety of people on slippery, snowy roads.
