Rostec, together with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, opens high-tech prosthetic centers in the regions of Russia. In addition to Moscow, such centers operate in Belgorod, Izhevsk and Kurgan. And in April, branches will open in St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Moscow regions. “Our task was to spread this concentration of prosthetic enterprises throughout the country, so that those who live in the regions do not have to travel a long way across the country to customize a prosthesis or a new sleeve to make,” said Tsivileva. Among the regions in which a branch of the innovative high-tech center will appear in the near future, the Jewish Autonomous Region. Soon similar centers will appear in 25 more subjects of the Russian Federation. “It is very important for us that today there will be the same professional history in the Far East as in the central territory of Russia, that the guys who live there will receive the same quality assistance and support, and they will not only look to the future with confidence, they will live in this future,” Maria Kostyuk, acting governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region, said. Since 2022, CITO of Rostec State Corporation has manufactured more than 5,000 prostheses of various functionality. Of these, more than 30% are bioelectric samples with microprocessor control. Earlier, Anna Tsivileva said that the share of prosthetics of Russian production is 80%.
