Doctors from Izhevsk on the air of the TV channel “Russia” told how for the first time in the history of the region conducted a kidney transplant.

The specialists also received the necessary training. “In this situation, everything went smoothly, the organ was perfect for this patient. We see from the analyses that the organ has taken root, said Deputy Chief Surgery Doctor of RKB No1 Andrey Subbotin. According to the chief doctor of RKB No. 1 Valery Vatulin, at the moment about 100 people worked at the operation. Among them are resuscitators, neurologists, surgeons, nephrologists. Earlier it was reported that Vologda doctors of the regional clinical hospital for the first time in the region performed open-heart surgery. Prior to this, significant preparatory work was carried out, as well as specialized equipment was purchased. The operation of the patient with damage to the coronary arteries lasted an hour and a half and passed without complications.
