SoSU graduate student Taimuraz Magkoev became the winner of the competition of the Russian Science Foundation and won a grant to study the chemistry of complex compounds furan. This will allow it to work with previously undescribed properties, which in the future can give a new impetus to the development of pharmacology. The competition of fundamental scientific researches considered 1,704 applications from 44 subjects of the country. Of these, 336 projects were supported. Taimuraz Magkoev’s research will take place within two years.
