The 28-year-old man took advantage of the fact that the owner of the Nissan car, who brought the pets to the veterinary clinic, left the car unattended. The future defendant in the investigation stole a car and a few minutes later crashed into an oncoming Toyota Corolla, the 42-year-old driver of a rammed foreign car died on the spot, and the hijacker was in intensive care. “He was found to be intoxicated at the time of the accident. The man does not have a driver’s license, the police said about the attacker. The incident was qualified under articles on unlawful possession of a car without the purpose of theft, and violation of traffic rules, which led to the death of a person by negligence. Law enforcers stressed that the suspect faces up to 12 years in prison.
