As part of the strategy of technological leadership, NCFU is launching a project aimed at creating and implementing innovative solutions in the field of UAS, forming engineering personnel and creating a modern scientific and production infrastructure for the development and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of the project, a line of flying UAS laboratories, an automated line of onboard power supply systems for spacecraft and a number of other unmanned aerial vehicle platforms will be created to solve problems in the field of agriculture, energy, infrastructure monitoring, logistics, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other industries. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. , — said the Chairman of the Duma Committee on nationalities, State Duma Deputy from the Stavropol region Vladimir Ivanov. Key partners in the implementation of the project will be the largest enterprises of the radio-electronic industry of the Stavropol Territory, including state corporations. So, now scientists of NCFU in partnership with the company "Stilsoft" develops technology of equipment for the production of solar cells for space purposes. Scientists were able to improve the production technology by using a new material on a sapphire substrate. The goal is to form progressive modern universities that will become centers of scientific, technological and socio-economic development of the country.
