Elena Serebrova was appointed director of the Museum-panorama "Battle of Borodino". Previously, she headed the State Museum of Defense of Moscow, reports the website of the mayor and the Moscow government.
After the new appointment, Elena Serebrova will also remain head of the Moscow Defense Museum, which she has headed since 2016. She takes office from February 26, 2025, the publication said. Vladimir Presnov, who served as director of the Borodino Battle Museum, was dismissed from his post at his own request. Meanwhile, Serebrova already has experience in managing the museum. She headed it from 2010 to 2016. Elena Serebrova’s experience will allow her to effectively continue to develop military-historical museums, implement new patriotic projects, the press service of the mayor and the government of the capital noted.
