This opinion was expressed in the program “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” on the TV channel “Russia” ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Spiridon Kilinkarov.
He said that he was not an iron general. According to him, a real military commander, after the Supreme Commander removed him from his post, would go to serve as a soldier at the front. “Believe me, he would have a political future. But this is not an iron general, this is a cast-iron general, because what he says today, with the geopolitical alignment, in my opinion, is a “death sentence,” the ex-MP explained. Kilinkarov added that Zaluzhny has no chance in politics. He also noted that the influence of the deserving overestimated. He stressed that the figure of the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny will not be convenient for Americans.
