The former general director of the Regional Fund for capital repair of houses in Krasnoyarsk was sentenced to seven years in a strict regime colony for bribes. The man will also pay a fine of 24 million rubles.
The investigation found that the convict offered a friend of the head of the contractor organization victory at auctions, regular receipt of contracts for construction work and general patronage. This was reported by TASS in the Prosecutor’s office of the Krasnoyarsk region. The first part of the bribe in the amount of 6.6 million rubles from the total amount of 12 million rubles was received by the convict in May and June 2023. The defendant did not admit guilt and stated that the crime charged to him was an attempt to discredit him.
