This is a brilliant work, because you read it many years later, and it does not lose its relevance, explains the director of the play “Portrait of Dorian Gray” Anastasia Frolova. “Portrait of Dorian Gray” is not the first experience of the collective in the interpretation of mysticism. You can forget “Mother is a ghost, and we will get married” on a small stage, and, of course, “Viy”, tickets for which are not available even three years after the premiere. Such productions are part of the repertory policy of the theater. “The New Experimental Theatre is attended by audiences of different generations, of different ages. And if earlier we opened our theatrical season with the premiere of the play "Hanuma", now it is a play "Portrait of Dorian Gray". It is designed for more progressive youth. Our next production will be Bulgakov’s work “The Master and Margarita,” says Angelina Manzhina, director of the New Experimental Theatre. "Dorian Gray" is a performance.
