Near Volgograd, a woman miraculously survived in a conflict with an aggressive partner

In Surovikovsky district of the Volgograd region opened a criminal case against a local resident suspected of attempted murder. The press service of the regional SU IC of Russia reported that on March 6 in the couple there was a quarrel on household soil. At the time of the conflict, the detainee was intoxicated. In the course of clarifying the relationship, the man grabbed a knife and tried to kill his partner. However, in the process of fighting, the handle broke. However, the attacker continued to beat the woman on the head and body, and then found another knife and again tried to deal with her. But the victim resisted, because of which the weapon fell from the hands of the attacker. Then he grabbed a hacksaw and again tried to inflict fatal injuries. The woman managed to fight back the offender and avoid serious injuries. The victim sought medical attention. Doctors recorded cut wounds of the hands, impenetrable stab wounds of the body, as well as a concussion of the brain. A petition was sent to the court for the detention of the detainee. Investigators continue to establish the circumstances of the incident, as well as the collection and consolidation of evidence in the criminal case.
