The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation published a video of a special operation to prevent a terrorist act planned against one of the officials of the Saratov region by the special services of Ukraine.

In the process of detention, the attacker made armed resistance and was neutralized by return fire. FSB officers seized an explosive device and a Makarov pistol at the scene. During the search at the address of the terrorist's residence, explosives and surveillance devices used in the preparation of the terrorist act were found. The investigative department of the FSB of the Russian Federation in the Saratov region opened a criminal case on the fact of the incident. Investigative actions and operational-search measures are currently being carried out.
