In Veliky Novgorod solemnly opened the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland

In the concert hall of the Novgorod Regional Philharmonic gathered veterans of hostilities, relatives of participants in a special military operation, representatives of patriotic and public organizations. The attendees were greeted by acting Governor of the Novgorod region Alexander Dronov. The ceremony continued with a festive concert. Famous bands "Turkish Choir" and "Turkish Soprano" began their performances with a song from the movie "Seventeen Moments of Scales". On this day, many other famous wartime melodies were played. The audience knows the words of these songs by heart, so throughout the concert they bravely sang along with the vocalists. The soldiers who recently returned from the combat zone were more restrained in their emotions, and the work of many state institutions under the program of the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland will be directed to their socialization. The performance of the world-famous artists of the "Turkish Choir" added brightness to the Novgorod start of the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. And then there will be no less significant socially oriented and creative projects and events that will fill the program of this year.
