In the city of Berdsk, Novosibirsk region, a 34-year-old local resident was detained, suspected of a series of apartment thefts.
According to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region, in January and February, the police received eight applications from residents of Berdsk and Novosibirsk, from whose apartments money, phones, bags and other things disappeared. In all cases, the theft was committed at night, when the owners of the apartments were asleep. The police found that the thief entered the entrances of residential buildings and pulled the door handles. Finding an unlocked door, the man entered and stole property from the hallway and rooms. So, from an apartment in the Soviet district of Novosibirsk, he stole two bags with money and documents. The damage amounted to 35 thousand rubles. And in Berdsk, the attacker, not finding anything in the hallway, entered the room where the teenager was sleeping, and stole the phone lying nearby. As it turned out, the detained citizen had previously been brought to criminal responsibility for committing similar crimes. A criminal case was opened, the court sent the defendant under arrest.
