Last Thursday, February 20, the police asked 50-year-old resident of Lipetsk. The man said that 13,806 rubles were stolen from his bank account, which was paid in stores of the regional center. The victim himself admitted that the day before he gave his card to a friend who was visiting his house. A 56-year-old friend became the first suspect. An acquaintance told law enforcement officers that a friend gave him a bank card for shopping in the store. After the Lipchan purchased alcohol and snack, he did not return the card. As specified in the press service of the regional interior Ministry, the thief for some time paid for purchases at someone else’s expense. The man was charged with part 3 of article 158 of the criminal code for theft. He faces up to 6 years in prison.
