And the victory will still be ours, said Sergey Nosov, Governor of the Magadan region. The layout of the border post is designed to remind the next generations of the feat of soldiers-border guards. During the Great Patriotic War, they were the first to meet the German fascist invaders. The relay was started on two routes: the southern from the Brest Fortress and the northern from Murmansk on February 2. The date cannot be called accidental - this is the day of the end of the turning battle in the Great Patriotic War - the Battle of Stalingrad. The Cup arrived in Magadan, which follows the northern route: through Arkhangelsk, Naryan-Mar, Salekhard, Dudinka, Anadyr. The center of the Magadan region belonging to the northern regions is confirmed by the weather: -15 and wind, but not even professional military, surprise with their resistance. The watch of historical memory is carried by Victory volunteers. “Everyone should know this, transfer from generation to generation the knowledge of what was, and what will be,” said Yegor Samoilin, a Victory volunteer. Two identical cups with Victory symbols will meet on May 28 in the Alexander Garden at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow.
