The manuscript of the XVII century was restored and digitized.
The Synodik of the Nikolo-Koryazhemsky Monastery returned to Solvychegodsky Historical and Art Museum-Reserve after restoration. For decades, monks recorded in it benefactors of the monastery – among the depositors are all Russian tsars, starting with Ivan the Terrible, representatives of boyar and princely families. Anyone can now get acquainted with their names and find their ancestors - during the work, the manuscript of the XVII century was digitized. It took a year for the specialists of the Rudomino Foreign Literature Library to restore it. The ancient folio was dismantled by pages, washed and strengthened each with special paper. Recovered the lost fragments, and made a new binding. “The book is leather bound. Before the restoration, the root of the book was completely lost and replaced with canvas fabric. In the process of restoration, the canvas root was dismantled and completely duplicated into new skin, said the chief curator of the Solvychegodsky Museum-Reserve Irina Kotova.
