The right-bank interdistrict investigative department of the SU IC of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region opened a criminal case against a 33-year-old local resident. The previously convicted man is charged with attempted murder of two persons.
As established, in the evening of February 25, in the yard of the house on Zelena Street in the village of Novoburannoye of Agapov district, a quarrel arose between the accused and his partner. A man who was intoxicated had a plan to kill her elderly parents. As a result, the defendant, having penetrated the apartment, struck several times with a metal part of an axe on the head of a 64-year-old mother and 68-year-old father of a cohabitant. The man died at the scene. Thanks to timely assistance, the woman survived. The detainee will soon be remanded in custody. A complex of forensic examinations is carried out, as well as investigative actions to collect and consolidate the evidence base.
