In the Leningrad region, 250 citizens were checked as part of a migration raid.

"In total, the police checked over 250 citizens, among whom they identified about 50 migrants," the department's message says. Additionally, violations were found in the documents of half of the foreigners during the check. They were all taken to the police station for further investigation and were held accountable for violating the migration rules. Information about the violators has also been entered into the registry of monitored individuals. The raid involved 70 employees from various units of the police headquarters. In turn, the State Traffic Inspectorate officers inspected over 100 vehicles as part of an operational-preventive measure. Several drivers were held accountable for administrative violations. "As a result of the raid, the district police will take additional measures to improve the migration situation and road safety in the district," concluded the police.
