According to the results of the inspection, an appeal will be prepared to the Commissioner for the Protection of the Ukrainian Language, the department added. Ukraine is preparing to consider a petition to ban Russian-language music, said on February 21, Deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Anton Gorelkin. On January 28, Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky called for granting Russian the status of the second state language of Ukraine.
