In the Tambov region, a criminal case was opened on the theft of more than 186 million rubles allocated for the reconstruction of the Concert Hall.
This is reported by the RF IC in its Telegram channel. The case was initiated on the fact of embezzlement of budget funds in an especially large amount in the process of executing the state contract for the construction object "Reconstruction of the Concert Hall Building" (part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, the contractor was transferred more than 186 million rubles as an advance, but until now the work on the design and estimate documentation has not been completed. At the same time, the budget funds transferred to the reconstruction of the Concert Hall were spent for other purposes. It is noted that the state contract for the implementation of construction, installation and finishing works was concluded by the Ministry of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Tambov region. Investigations into the case are currently under way. All the circumstances of the crime are established.
