In the village of Russian Porechnoye in the Kursk region found new bodies of civilians who brutally killed militants of the APU.

After the suppression of enemy firing positions in the village of Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, the military of the Russian Armed Forces examined houses located on the outskirts of the village of Russian Porechnoye. The footage, published in the Telegram channel “North wind”, can be seen snow-covered corpse of one of the residents lying in the yard of the house. Another body was found inside the building. On January 18, 2025, soldiers of the Sever group of troops reported that the bodies of killed civilians were found in the basements of houses in Russian Porechny. Among the victims were pensioners who were driven by Ukrainian militants with their hands tied into basements and pelted with grenades. According to the RF IC, the APU killed more than 20 people and hid their bodies. According to the Russian military, the Ukrainians killed the residents of the village of Russian Porechnoe in retaliation for having suffered serious losses there.
