In Yakutia due to the collision of the oil locomotive and trawl spilled 33 tons of oil products

occurred on Monday, March 17, near the village of North Nyu, clarifies with reference to the rescue service of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). At the scene are rescuers, specialists of environmental control, fire service, traffic police, employees of the company that owns the oil truck, and representatives of the local administration. To eliminate the consequences of the accident, rescuers and contractors brought 700 kg of sorbent and special equipment for collecting contaminated soil, which is planned to be disposed of at the Irelyakhsky landfill in the city of Mirny. It is specified that the district highway is in a carriageway, there is no accumulation of vehicles. Oil products did not get into water bodies - the nearest stream is a kilometer from the spill site. Currently, sorbent treatment of contaminated shoulders and pumping of the remaining oil from the damaged container. As reported in the regional Department of EMERCOM of Russia, in the Lensky district introduced a mode of emergency local character. Work is scheduled to be completed on March 19.
