Investors can get a “golden visa” to Russia according to 4 criteria

Who and how gets a residence permit in Russia under a simplified scheme on the air of "Vesti FM" said the Deputy Director of the Department of development of the social sphere and the sector of non-profit organizations of the Ministry of economic development of Russia Anastasia Zolotukhin. “Indeed, the residence permit for investors is obtained in a simplified form. Here determined by the government of the Russian Federation resolution, which clearly spells out the criteria by which the Ministry of economic development evaluates the received documents from investors, gives its permission and a package of documents can be sent to the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia for registration of the relevant residence permit. According to Zolotukhin, there are 4 criteria according to which an investor can apply and receive a residence permit. The first criterion is that the investor must invest in socially significant projects in one of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation within three years. At the same time, the amount of such investments should be at least 15 million rubles. The next criterion is registration as a legal entity in the Russian Federation with the amount of taxes paid at least 4 million rubles, the implementation of entrepreneurial activity for at least 2 years. The third criterion is investment in a Russian legal entity. Here the amount of investments should be at least 30 million rubles. The fourth criterion for obtaining a “golden visa” is to invest in real estate in Russia. The purchase of real estate must be carried out within 2 years and the ownership of this property must be for two years.” During the first two years of the “golden visas” in Russia, 40 foreign investors from 14 countries applied for them, the Ministry of Economy reported.
