The man was found guilty of crimes under part 1 of Article 356 of the Criminal Code (cruelty to the civilian population) and subparagraph "g", "l" of part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder committed by an organized group motivated by political and ideological hatred). According to the investigation, on March 4, 2022, the perpetrator found a civilian in a residential building in Mariupol. The soldier decided that his victim was pro-Russian and shot him with a handgun. A civilian died on the spot. On the morning of February 24, a civilian was killed in Horlivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) as a result of Ukrainian aggression. Shortly before it was reported that the number of wounded civilians after the shelling of the AFU increased to three.
