According to Peskov, Putin is familiar with the essence of what happened in the White House, the entire world community saw it. “All the nuances, of course, the president knows. He took into account what happened, the presidential spokesman told reporters. As Peskov noted, the skirmish in the White House was “quite unprecedented”, it showed a “complete lack” of Zelensky’s “diplomatic abilities at least, let alone more.” The Kremlin spokesman said that in Washington, the Russian side saw “full growth” inability of Kiev to negotiate. “I was once again convinced of President Putin’s rightness when he said that despite the openness of the Russian side to the negotiation process, these good intentions rest on the unwillingness of the Kiev regime to maintain such dynamics,” Peskov said. Earlier, Zelensky said that he was confident in overcoming the negative consequences of his visit to the United States, in particular, the spat that arose in the White House. Assistant to the President for national security Mike Waltz pointed out that the United States wants Ukraine to have a leader who is able to do business with Washington and at some point with Moscow. Waltz said the White House was unsure of Zelensky’s willingness to end the Ukraine conflict.
