Kuban farmers are preparing to break their own record for collecting strawberries

While the ground berry is only preparing for ripening, in greenhouse farms ripe strawberries are harvested now. At first, the Palichev family developed the economy exclusively at its own expense. But in the past, I decided that there would be no prospects without state support. Participation in the regional program "Agrostrap" allowed to receive a grant of 5 million rubles. The funds were disposed of wisely – they built a boiler room to guarantee the maintenance of the desired temperature in the greenhouse, and also bought heavy equipment to help grow seedlings. Last year alone, 17 Kuban farmers received such grants totaling about 93 million rubles. The Agrostartup program allows farmers to reimburse up to 90 percent of the costs of implementing their projects. This has played an important role in the fact that the strawberry harvest in the region has reached impressive figures. Of the 1,125 tons collected last year, about 600 tons were grown in closed ground and about 400 in open ground. This spring, the weather did not seriously violate the plans of the strawberries, which means that there is every chance to break the record.
