At the meeting in Riyadh, the parties managed to talk soberly about the problems. “Rubio and Waltz are absolutely sane people in every sense of the word. They talk because they don’t command us and we don’t command them. Just two serious countries sat down to talk, where they have what is wrong, Lavrov said in an interview for the media holding Red Star. The foreign Minister added that Rubio at the meeting in Riyadh expressed positions similar to those of Russia. Responsible powers must find places of convergence and achieve mutually beneficial results.
