The first life sentence for crimes in the Kursk region was given to a Ukrainian militant. APU machine gunner Alexander Husak illegally invaded Russia in August 2024. As established by the investigation, the saboteur on the orders of the command opened fire on unarmed Russian soldiers, with a machine gun in his hands intimidated civilians.
