In the North American Death Valley, scientists have discovered a unique natural phenomenon – a huge lake that arose as a result of storms. It hasn't been drying for months. Death Valley is the lowest point in North America, located 86 meters below sea level. Because of this, water bodies are often formed in this area. Usually, such lakes dry up within a few weeks, but this lake is an exception. Its area reaches about 50 square kilometers, and the depth reaches one meter. According to scientists, this lake has become the most stable in the history of observations. Earlier, Reuters reported that the Brazilian city of Buritikupu falls into an earthen funnel. It is noted that the failures in the ground residents of the city observed for the past 30 years.
