The EU and the collective West are becoming more arrogant and chauvinistic as their influence in the world declines. This was stated in an interview with “Russia 24” by the Deputy of the European Parliament from Slovakia Lubos Blaha.

He noted that some Slovak politicians are not satisfied with what is happening in the EU. “We see the European Union and the collective West, as their influence declines and their economic performance deteriorates, they become increasingly arrogant and chauvinistic,” Blaha said. The MEP stressed Slovakia’s desire to strengthen ties with the BRICS countries, as well as to improve relations with Russia.
