According to the materials of the regional FSB of Russia, four residents of Krasnodar decided to earn money on cryptocurrency. They collected 6 million rubles and handed the money to an acquaintance to set up a mining farm and start mining cyber money. The "system administrator" set up the farm in the Severny district. And every month he reported to the partners on the income received. After some time, the "cyber farmer" decided to buy out the equipment. He returned the 6 million rubles invested by the investors and added 150 units of cryptocurrency worth 2 million rubles on top - as dividends. But the investors were not satisfied with this situation. And they started extorting another 6 million rubles from the miner. This did not go without serious threats. The victim of the extortionists had to turn to the police. A criminal case was opened against the four investors. They face up to 15 years in prison, according to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory.
