Then the old water intake of 1000 cubic meters, built half a century ago, flooded. Rospotrebnadzor banned the use of water from the river Ishim without purification. More than half of the Abatans experienced a deficit. With the commissioning of the new station, the situation has improved. The site for the water treatment plant was poured in order to minimize the risks of flooding in the event of a rise in the water level in the Ishim River. The situation was taken over by the governor of the region. Systematic work will continue. It is important to assess peak consumption in the summer to develop measures to increase the amount of water treated. In addition, new drinking water pavilions will appear in 16 settlements in the region this year, including in the Abat district.
