A court in Nizhny Novgorod has arrested for two months an 18-year-old local resident who arranged a fatal accident at a public transport stop. This was reported in the regional prosecutor’s office.
The accident occurred on the evening of February 27 in the Sormovsky district of the city. A young man with three months of driving experience in a car-sharing car failed to manage and flew into a stop at which people were standing at that moment. As a result, two women died on the spot. The driver and three of his passengers were injured. A criminal case was opened on violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles. The driver has been charged. The police said that the young man admitted his guilt and apologized.
