17 leaders of the capital’s student associations joined the round table held in the regional government. They discussed the participation of young people in lawmaking, the status of historically significant cities and social support for students with children. The main purpose of the visit is to exchange experience with aspiring politicians of our region. Our region was the first in a series of such visits of Muscovites to the regions of the country. The guests had only a day to immerse themselves in local politics. Therefore, the program became very rich, so in the regional Duma for aspiring politicians held a tour about the history of Novgorod parliamentarism from 1994 to the present day. The facts were supplemented by personal observations by the Deputy Chairman of the Novgorod Regional Duma Olga Borisova, and then she opened the round table meeting. Also from the parliamentarians of the Novgorod regional Duma with the capital guests talked Ilya Prikhodko. According to the deputy, for successful work, young politicians need freedom of thought, understanding of the current moment and the opportunity to receive advice from senior comrades, then they will be able to understand the importance of the tasks assigned to them and be able to solve them.
