Volunteers discovered fresh oil at several sites in Anapa on March 10. This was reported in the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory.

Volunteers found fragments of petroleum products near the mouth of the Mozhepsin River, on the Bugaz Spit and between the village of Vityazevo and the village of Blagoveshchenskaya. Volunteers removed fresh fuel oil. Also from the site in the village of Voskresensky continue to take out polluted sand. The waste is loaded into dump trucks, then weighed. Then the cars are covered with an awning and sealed. Sand with fuel oil is sent for disinfection to a certified enterprise. In total, more than 74 thousand tons of soil were removed. As reported earlier, “Vesti Sochi”, in the Kerch Strait in December 2024, two tankers carrying more than nine thousand tons of fuel oil, crashed. After that, the water area and the coast of the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimea were polluted.
