📝 Summary

In the Krasnodar region recorded new emissions of fuel oil in the area of the health center "Premier" in Anapa and on the beach Dzhemet. This was reported by the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory in its Telegram channel.

The morning of February 23 began with traditional coastline monitoring. Municipal teams found minor emissions of small fraction of fuel oil on the beach of Dzhemet (the site assigned to Krasnodar) and on the beach of the health center "Premier" in Anapa. Also near the children's camp "Pearl of Russia" because of the strong wind on the shore exposed frozen drops of fuel oil, previously under a layer of sand. “There are almost no new emissions here,” the operational headquarters notes. The oil spill occurred as a result of the crash of two tankers in the Kerch Strait on December 15, 2024. About 2.4 thousand tons of fuel oil got into the sea. The Black Sea coast of Kuban suffered the most from pollution. In the Krasnodar Territory, coastal regions of the Crimean peninsula and in Sevastopol, federal emergency regimes have been introduced.
