On the channel "Russia" - the premiere of the multi-series melodrama "Circles on the Water"

The main roles are played by Alexandra Khromova, Alexander Bukharov, Tatiana Kolganova, Sergey Yushkevich, Alexander Nosik, and others. Raya (Alexandra Khromova) is forced to leave medical school and work for a cleaning company to pay for an expensive operation for the sick father, Andrey Vetrov (Alexander Bukharov). One day, while cleaning luxurious apartments, Raya meets the owner of the apartment, a representative of the golden youth, Pavel Olkhovsky (Andrey Gryzlov). The young people fall in love with each other. However, Pavel's mother, the owner of a business empire, Inga (Tatiana Kolganova), strongly opposes her son's relationship with a simple cleaner: she dreams of marrying him to the daughter of her main competitor, Evgeny Sokolov (Alexander Nosik). Together with the firm's lawyer, Victor Danilov (Sergey Yushkevich), Inga devises a plan to get rid of the girl. Will Raya be able to keep her love and find happiness? Maxim Demchenko, director: "The script interested me because the conflict between good and evil is very pronounced here, and this confrontation arises in the very first episode. Usually, the heroine's story is told at length and in detail, but here we immediately grab the bull by the horns. Perhaps this is the first project of this kind in my filmography. And such a sharp, desperate conflict interaction really intrigued me first in the script version, and then it was very interesting to implement it. At the same time, the characters are cynical, in a negative sense of the word modern, at some point they transform, and the positive characters make mistakes and commit wrong actions. In other words, this story is not written in black and white, these characters have depth and room for exploration, each of them tries to achieve their own truth. And in this project, I was very lucky with the cast because I met real professionals on set: Sergey Yushkevich, Tatiana Kolganova, Alexander Bukharov - these are our titans, wonderful versatile experienced actors. And on the other hand - actors of the younger generation: Sasha Khromova, the main heroine, Andrey Gryzlov, Gleb Bochkov, Ilya Ilyin, with whom I worked on the film "Rolling Field" and in "Mysteries of Investigation," and my muse Yulia Kudoyar, whom I have been filming in my projects for many years. And this blend of youth and experience forged this story. A story in which at some point it seems that evil is already impossible to overcome, but love still triumphs. Because love rules the world!" Alexandra Khromova: "At first, I thought that our series would be a light, airy, watercolor story about love. But after reading the script in its entirety, I saw that before me was a story of a very heavy human fate with many breaking events. And I realized that playing a character with such different layers of maturity, finding these changes and inner growth, is an acting challenge for me. My heroine Raya is a very bright, tender, sensitive, kind character. We are not very similar, for me, this role was a resistance because in all situations, I wanted to react as I would, in my own organic way, in my feelings. I constantly wanted to protect her, add a backbone, sarcasm. But Raya is different, her strength is in kindness, in love, she conquers with her sincerity and open heart."
