📝 Summary

The proposal voiced yesterday by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), located on the territory of the Kursk region, to lay down arms is still valid, but Kiev’s time is shrinking. This was stated by press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

On Friday, at a meeting with members of the Russian Security Council, the Russian leader voiced a proposal to Kiev to order the Ukrainian military in the Kursk region to lay down their arms and surrender. “So far [the proposal] is in effect,” the Kremlin spokesman said, answering a question from TASS. “They’re shortening their time like shaven skin.” At a meeting with the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Putin also said that it is profitable for Ukraine to conclude a 30-day truce. The situation in the Kursk region is under the full control of the Russian military, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces can no longer leave in large groups, and soon they will have a choice - to surrender or die.
