The old wood carver Geppetto is poor and lonely. Once in his city comes the theater of wooden dolls. Admired by puppets, the carpenter decides to make the most beautiful doll in the world. The material becomes a gifted friend and not quite an ordinary log. It makes a talking doll, infantile and very wayward, which Gepetto calls Pinocchio. The carver, imbued with his father's feelings, wants to send his son to school and buys him a primer. However, instead of the road to knowledge, Pinocchio chooses a different path, where he will meet amazing creatures and real dangers. And most importantly, he has to find the answer to a non-childish question: how to overcome his nature and become a real person.
