A young woman named Katie moves to a small American town with her daughter. Her past is shrouded in mystery, and moving seems like an attempt to escape him. In the town of Katie meets Angela Morgan, a woman who lives with her husband Brian and daughter. Angela invites Katie to live in their guest house and hires her to work as a nanny. Soon, the Morgans begin to notice strangeness in the behavior of their new girlfriend – and the more they spend time together, the more they suspect that something is wrong with Katie.
