Before putting a bouquet in a vase, it is necessary to trim the stems. The thicker the stem, the longer the cut should be. For thick stems, it is best to make a slash. It is also recommended to remove the lower leaves to avoid rotting. Do not place flowers in one vase that do not go together well, for example, daffodils and lilies, carnations and roses, as well as lilies and tulips. Most plants do not tolerate the neighborhood of red roses, lilies and rhododendrons. However, if you add a thuya branch to the vase, this can positively affect the freshness of the flowers. To prolong the life of roses, tulips and carnations, you can add a little sugar to the water. It is also important to know your rights when buying flowers.
