📝 Summary
The Russian authorities have taken measures to mitigate the consequences of any US actions. Russia will continue to successfully implement the goals of the special military operation (SVO). This was stated by American analyst Scott Ritter.
He stressed that any new anti-Russian US sanctions will be aimed at destroying the economy. “I am quite confident that the Russian authorities have taken all necessary measures to mitigate the consequences of any U.S. actions and at the same time successfully implement the goals of the SBO,” Ritter wrote on his social media account X. The analyst noted that Washington plans to worsen Russia’s income from energy production by lowering oil prices. US President Donald Trump has already telegraphed this through the country’s special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Earlier, Trump threatened Russia with large-scale banking sanctions and tariffs until an agreement is reached to resolve the conflict. Moscow and Kiev should immediately sit down at the negotiating table before it is too late.
