Rubio: COVID-19 spreads worldwide due to leak from China lab

At the same time, epidemiologist Gennady Onishchenko previously called the statements of CIA representatives about the possible artificial origin of the coronavirus politically motivated. A WHO investigation published in 2021 described the origin of COVID-19 as “extremely unlikely.” The new type of coronavirus was most likely transmitted to humans from bats through another animal.
