TV version of the play "The Seagull" MDT - Theatre of Europe. Lev Dodin has been associated with Chekhov’s drama for many years. And this performance, staged in 2022, is the second appeal to Chekhov’s Seagull, after 20 years. The composition for the stage, created by L. Dodin, also included reflections of A. P. Chekhov on literature and art from letters and notes of different years. In the new play, the director minimizes the external action and reduces the number of characters to fully focus on the relationships of the main characters of the play. E. Boyarskaya, I.
